Hello everyone, I’m new around here as you may notice.

You may also notice that I’m involved in Hipertekspeed.com (plug alert hehe)

But yeah, not long ago I purchased a '79 Celica ST in a... beautiful *cough* green colour.

Now for the bit that may offend.. its going to be torn up and abused. Yes, im going to learn to drift it.

As you can see, its not in the best of conditions. It needs a new boot lid, or some major ghetto repairage, and it also needs welding on the boot floor and the rear inner arches. I may just cut the boot floor out and get an alu panel welded in though.

It had an interior... now it doesn’t.

Heheh.

Plans are:

Fit buckets + harnesses

Lower it

Front camber plates

Pikey mig-spec diff (welded shut basically)

DIY Semi-matt black spray job

Bozosoku style oil cooler on the front

Proper exhaust system.

Front lip

Nice® wheels

Oh and a new clutch... got a bit enthusiastic with the parking.

For now the engine will be left as standard, for various reasons, mainly financial.

So if anyone has any spare parts, info or anything that may be useful.. let me know.

P.S - This is a 'thin wallet' project. I’m also building a Mini (not the blue rally clubman you can see) as a daily driver, and an Aprilia motorbike to get to work. And oh yeah... I’m 16. I have an engineering apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce Derby, but it starts in September. Hopefully I’ll be spending the summer working at Arrow Precision Race Engineering to pull in some moolah in the meantime.

Blimey I’ve written a bleedin' essay.
