Black Mk1

I have a black MK1 MR2, C reg, so one of the first. I never see others around, only the very dark blue ones. Are they rare? I heard a rumour that black ones were imported. This true?

They were available from Toyota UK (i.e not import only). There are a few of them about, but not many. Infact there is one just around the corner from me that hasn't moved in nearly three years. I might just offer to take it off his hands so he doesn't have to pay the council to scrap it :D

There's a black one on eBay being broken at the moment too.

Is your black MKI one of the early one with skirts and the other later body kit items? or is it like mine without any body kit?
