Help Need With Headunit

I was just fittin a new head unit in my car, and i drop the live wirer from the ignition onto the metal frame.. and being an idiot like i am i left the ignition on! There was a spark and now theres no power travelling down that wire. the only fuse I found for the radio is the 15amp "RAD CIG". That fuse is fine, but could there be another fuse somewhere?

Any help in finding the fault would be great...

Cheers

This might sound silly, but did you test the fuse with a multimeter? did you test all the fuses in the footwell with a multimeter? Fuses can blow below the visible section so they might *look* OK but aren't.

Why are you messing with bare ends of wires when there are ISO harness adaptors available for the MKII? It makes life so much easier ;)

The fuses are fine, the cig socket still works... and so does everything else that I can think of.

There were no harness's in the car when I bought it so I had to do abit of DIY, and I know that Ive got the correct wires. Ive ran out of ideas.
