What size?

For 50 series..on the yaris i would reccomend Toyo T1-s r Toyo T1-r's.. 195x50/15's will come in at around 40 quid a corner, fitted, they are at my work.

Other Brands i have used without any problems are Goodyear, Bridgestones and Continental.. the one I personally would not have are Pirelli's (personal opinion)

I know you said you didn't want Budget tyre.. but just below top brand and just above budget are Kumho's.. i am currently running Kumho 712's on 205x40/17 (got them free) and they are perfectly acceptable in all areas.. so far so good.

Dunlop SP 9000's.... Bit more pricey than Toyo's but equal performance and a bit longer life me thinks!

Yeah, I'm running Toyo T1-S all round and love them, can't fault them really! If I were you I'd try and get my hands on some Toyo T1-R though! And for 15's its gotta be 195/45 R15!

195x50/15's will fit a standard T-Sport (not lowered, that is) as i'm sure the standard size is 185x55/15

185x55/15 = 101.75mm (sidewall height)

195/50x15 = 97.50mm

So a difference of only 4.25mm.. (half of new tread depth)

195x50/15''s are a lot cheaper than 45's

I had Toyo`s on my GT4 when i bought it. Very good. Wore them out in about 4000 miles. Had Kumho`s after that. Just as good as Toyo`s for roadholding etc and seem to be wearing very well. And i`m not exactly light on the pedals. Half the price as well. :P
