hi i just joined and would like to no where the taco signal wire is and what colour it is on a starlet sportif

hey mate, welcome to the club! ;)

the wire your looking for is as follows...

look at the distributor cap, there are two wiring blocks attached to it,

u are looking at the lowest connector out of the right hand side there is a green wire. thats your signal wire.
