Hi,

Could somebody please tell me what the "AST" button is for on the yaris cd player part....the "AST" button is located underneath the power button.

i think its to keep the best frequency ie best quality so it auto tunes itself to the radio station your listening to.

Took me ages to suss what that was for!

What they said, but you have to hold it until it bleeps and then it will scan through the FM frequencies (could take a couple on fminutes) before saving the 6 strongest to number 1-6 on the FM3 band....

I've never tried it either, I know what stations I like and tune them in myself in a certain order..

I think I need to get out more! :lol:

AST is to AutoSTore the radio stations on a standard yaris system.
