I was considering doing this job for him but after seeing the amount of work involved in doing it i kinda changed my mind :D

Local garage has quoted around £165-£180 for the job

gonna get the garage to do it for certain!!

They need to !Removed! about with the diff etc, so easier letting them do it.

PS : will be selling my old box for much cheapness for refurb/repair/spare etc... anyone interested?

Why dont you just get a B&M style shortshifter? They are better than the TRD style shifters apparantly.

Last time I got it done it was £290 all in and he said he never wants to do another one again!

i was charged 180 for a clutch plus the cost of the clutch which i got for 70 of a mate

You bought 2 clutches?

Clutch kit for an n/a non import is £60, £90 for the import plus VAT

Rest was labour.

yes i bought two clutchs, errr no why the %$( would i buy two clutchs numb nuts, i was charged 180 for the fitting of the clutch plus the cost of the clutch, was it really that hard to understand

better watch, he's also a grass and tells tails on people who have large sig's :huh::rolleyes:

Oh and back on topic, my mechanic mate is coming next week to fit Jim's gearbox! :thumbsup:

good condition.. got it from gtschris, only cost £150 plus £50 pallet delivery. Well cheap!!

Took me a while to find this one, just lucky I guess.

PS : this is jim, just realised was logged in as Rico... lol.
