Got Bulbed! (and A Thank-u Note 4 Clarky)

ok..first off.. to say a big THANK YOU.. for clarky.. who solved my "bzzz-from-dashboard" problem...

ive posted a pic of what made that horrible sound and fixed it by putting double sided sticky-tape between the two layers like clarky told me to..

and now.. for my bulbing.. lol..

got silver back indicator bulbs.. won on eBay lol.. this is the before pic:

also got front blueish sidebulbs(for free!) and 6500k headlights...

(ill post night pics today)

anyone knows where i can get front silver bulbs?

Those rear light look really nice! Makes such a difference those blue sidebulb things!

wow, those silver bulbs really make a diff, i need to do that to mine, which bulbs did you use, will be getting a set of them for myself!! also some for the side is in need me thinks

kevin got them for 10 quid per pair...

its a pity no one have the front indicator bulbs as well (flat based with 2 connectors)...

Capless bulbs :thumbsup:

As for the lights, they look much better with the new bulbs in :thumbsup:

just reach those damn bulb holders from the wheel side (yeah.. youll get dirt on u) ..hehe... open the screw under the wing (that connects to the bumper) and voila.. u can reach and replace those too :)

been working on something to replace the side indicators as well... hehe

No need to go under the arch to change the side indicators.. gently push the unit to one side and it pulls out, but as far as i know they ARE sealed units.. mine are.

i thought u ment the orange bulbs in the primary headlight

I remember a discussion about the wing ones with Yves... They are seled units but you can (carefully) cut the top off the outer plastic but, remove the existing bulb and replace it before glueing the clear plastic back on.

It was almost a year ago so some searching may be needed.
