Does anyone know who supplies a Carina E 4A-FE engine Lean Mixture Sensor for a realistic price. Today my warning light came on and when checking it out using the diagnostic socket it says it is faulty. Have been quoted about £300 for a new one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like my sensor has gone as well, but not sure if I have a lean burn engine - How can you tell ? It is a '95 M Carina 1.6CD

Hoping mine is the standard one as it is a lot cheaper... :help:

Check the fuel injectors...on the inlet manifold side. If they are part of the inlet manifold, then you don't have the lean burn. If they are set into the cylinder head, then you have the ultra economical engine...
