I own a 1.3XLI Corolla with a 4E-FE engine and the car has clocked up over 150,000 miles. Its in very good condition but I would like to know typical estimate prices for the following items

Brakes, with Calipers and pads

Drum brakes

Suspension stuts, coil springs

engine rebuilding or reconditioning of existing engine

I could phone around but cant really be asked to be honest, if theres anyone out there involved in the maintenance industry maybe you can give some rough figures.

Id like to buy a new car but if i could extend the life of the existing one and make some improvements id be happy to keep using the car for maybe a couple or 3 more years, it would save a poor student like me alot on tax and insurance..

Theres nothing really wrong with the car apart from a few scratches and a broken horn, but il fix those anyway, id just like to have peace of mind that it can do atleast another 50,000 miles easily..
