Dear toyota enthusiats,

hello this is my first post, i own a 2002 corolla t3 1.6 vvti hence my name  i was driving and starting hearing some noise from the front right wheel, some whining rubbing noise :crybaby: , not moving the car in anyway but just getting faster as i go faster, it will stop after a certain speed, is it something due to bearings? how much would it cost to repair?

Thank You For Your Help

If it is a mechanical fault then it will be covered bt the 3 year factory warranty. If it is a tyre fault then that isn't to expensive to remedy.

Take the car to a dearler and see what they say.

i had a problem like this last week, turned out to be nothing more than a stone stuck between the pad and disc. but take it to local toyota dealer they should check it out for free if its under warranty.

Thats what i was gonna say, give it a good inspection before you jump the gun. if possible, take the wheel of and spray compressed air around it.
