Installin 6x9s In A Starlet

hi, im totally new to this site but have been in my toyota starlet for 3 years. looking to install 6x9s from my sony headunit. the wiring loom is same that came with it but head unit is a newer sony one. does anyone know how this could be done? i cant work out wires etc. thanks. i need to run Speakers off the headunit not an amp as i use my boot to much., and only want an ickle bit more sound

you can buy an adaptor from Halfords, that will convert the iso connector on the new sony headunit to fit your starlet. not sure what the exact model number is, but its the same as the adaptor for the corrolla.

if you are planning on putting your new Speakers in the parcel shelf, and assuming you don't have Speakers there already, the wiring loom is in the panel to the right of the parcel shelf. you can purchase the female end of the loom from toyota, its about £8 and well worth it as you can disconnect the parcel shelf when you need more space.
