Mr2 T-bar 89-g Question - Please Help

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help me here....

I have an 89 G-reg Mr2 Mk-I T-Bar. I just bought some new 15" alloys whose tyres are 195/50vr15's. The guy in the shop said that the trye pressure will be the same as the originals, which are listed in the manual (which I do not have as the car is in for bodywork repairs). Does anyone know if that is right? And if so, what are the correct pressures?

Thanks very much for any help ;-)

Cheers

Simon

The tyre pressure in my manual says 28 in the back and 26 in the fronts

Which i thought was a bit low but not had any trouble with them at that :)

ive got 14" wheels on though

Thanks very much for that.

I recognise those pressures from my own manual now you mention them.

Does anyone know if having 15" alloys might require a different pressure though?

Cheers

I usually run mine (195/50/15) at 30Psi front and 32Psi rear. I think that as long as you're within a few Psi of standard you'll be ok, but keep the 2Psi differential between front and rear.
