My car is branded as the devil.....:lol:

It is weird yeah, I wouldn't say retarded, its a personal choice - if someone wants to give their Yaris a T-Sport Badge, well thats up to them. It wouldnt bother me in the slightest - its a cosmetic mod really is all.

but then people assume wen they see that car it is a t sport, and it isnt, so its making the t sport brand a lower standard

we will agree to disagree bout it being retarded

I think it's pretty lame and akin to those NOS, Apexi, HKS, etc. etc. stickers on a bog standard car.

I wouldn't get upset about it though!

There is a Honda Civic near and at first glance it looks like a Type R.

At second glance especially at the rear drum brakes, it’s not! All show and no go.

Lame!

the worse thing about false badging is making no effort to replicate the wrong Badge, people who just stick it on

Guy up my way has put T-Sport badges all over his 1 litre, he's not even got a T-Sport kit on it! I just laugh at him!

Thats fair enough - I just dont agree with the use of that particular word to describe something that you dont personally like. There are plenty of other similar words that you could use that are less offensive.

Its not really lowering the standard - their car is a T-Sport wannabe and yours is A T-Sport! But I do see what you mean!

Let them do it, at the end of the day its more fun for us with the t sports when we can thrash them. Raced some crazy dude in a fiesta zetec s today, beat him, he looked very angry lol :P

If you've got it in (HKS Blitz) then i don't mind it being on the car.

I wouldn't do it... At least probabally not...

If you've haven't got a T sport, why be in denial?

I really wouldn't worry so much... Each to their own i guess...

And we come back to the fact that everyone does what they want with their own car!

What refreshingly unbiased opinions! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Let's face it. Whatever you do to your car, someone won't find it to their taste and may even laugh at it, secretly or otherwise. There are also those that disapprove if you don't mod your car!

I agree, wrong badging your car may be a bit of a daft thing to do but it is their car after all. As for...

but then people assume wen they see that car it is a t sport, and it isnt, so its making the t sport brand a lower standard

Sorry, but that's a litle pretentious, I feel. God, those Ferrari drivers must be livid when they see certain body-kitted MR2s! :P

ok, their morons then

it does lower the standard IMO as not everyone knows the yaris like we do so people assume its a t sport, they beat it and laugh at t sports or they look at it and think thats not sporty, its rubbish, wen the facts are very different

Yeah tis a bit pointless to me, but then I see it like if I saw a Vauxhall Astra (for EXAMPLE - that's all) with a high spec Badge on it, and the actual model wasnt high spec I wouldn't have a clue as I'm just not into that kinda thing (or Vauxhalls lol)..so that woman who put a T-Sport Badge on it annoys you because you know what the grades of Yarii are, and know she is blatently lieing but would most other people know?

If people wanna laugh at T-Sports, they will - nothing will stop them. We know the truth about them tho obviously.

Each to their own tho - always has been, always will be

Just my two pence worth!

i agree with that

although the people who would care/notice/think about it would only be car enthusiasts and they will spot the error as usually it is a blatent error

i dont mean to sound pushy with this, just my opinion

Yeah I totally see your point - it's like all (or at least most ) of us on here would spot a de-badging mistake on a Yaris because we fans of them, other people probably wouldn't.

But would a car enthusiast know every model of every car? Surely they would have some they wouldn't know? :!Removed!: hmm interesting!
