Let's face it. Whatever you do to your car, someone won't find it to their taste and may even laugh at it, secretly or otherwise. There are also those that disapprove if you don't mod your car!

Thats very true Al..... its all down to personal taste - what the Smiths like, the Browns wont etc etc. Theres not much point making a big fuss about it - people will do what they like!

Can some one who would like to rebadge explain why just because genuinly i don't understand why! Why would you want to rebadge the Toyota Badge with Vitz ones? To pretend it RS? I personally think the Toyota Badge looks better! you changing just because you prefer the look of Vitz Badge?

To me it seems like people do it just for the sake of it! surely thats a waste of money when it isn't really even being original! i know it aint much money but you dont just buy pointless things!

you are misunderstood my friend. i never said i was going to REPLACE anything. rather just put it on the left at the back, where theres a huge gap.. ive seen it on another yaris and liked it alot.. its all about being unique! not everybody will agree with my taste and some people will:

"If everybody looked the same, we'd get tired of looking at each other."

O ok fair enough :D Didn't mean offence just was puzzled! Surely their even less reasoning in putting a Vitz Badge on if you are planning to keep other badges!? surely that just confusingly pointless? That like putting a Tsport Badge on but leaving the Blue Badge on or something! Lol anyway ya ain't got to explain yourself i just don't get it! Maybe that better as makes it more interesting!....i wil stop now

You'd also have to take into account the fact that some people may not know the difference? I mean, that young lady you have described could have bought the car second hand? Is she retarded for not knowing the car a little better? There could be a few more reasons to these things happening and being on cars other then the fact they just wish it was better? I guess im trying to say, your mass generalisation brush of the word !Removed! was quite harsh, but then they are your personal words of choice and I can't change that... ;) Never judge a book by its cover and all that.

True however, that the said persons could be labeled something a little more harsh if they did not carry out research... unfortunatly I doubt many research sources on cars cover badges.. especially individual model brands of the same make.

Anyway, I can't say I agree with rebranding a car or indeed debadging a car, but thats my personal choice. If people wish to think a T-sport is a pile of pants then I'm sure they will be proven wrong sometime in their driving experience. ;)

I tell a lie.. I just rebranded a tractor with a T-sport Badge and trim.... purely just to ***** you off and indeed get a few laughs from it in the process :D

/the above about the tractor was indeed a lie but atleast its given me a project to work on over my summer holidays ;)

The worst culprits are 3-series drivers who stick M3 badges on their cars! Even worse when they leave the 316i Badge on as well.

Thats a very good point indeed - I mean WE know the truth, but if shes bought it like that and been told "Oh yeah, its a T-Sport" then how will she know otherwise?? Stick a Badge on and up the price and hope some eejit who doesnt know her Yarii from her Corsa will come buy, have a look and buy it!

Obviously we dont know that has happened, but it could have done!

I always thought badging a car to a lower spec would be good for hustling lol...

Ah back to my "White men can't jump" days....

Really though i don't see where this thread can head as everyone has a different opinion, and it's not really up for much discussion apparently.....

I still stand by the idea it doesn't hurt me, but I wouldn't do it to my car..

We took our badges off the back but left them on the front, he likes them so it will stay like that.

Its just personal choice at the end of the day
