Had a go with 100W rally blue ones, but gave them up on the basis that they were gradually melting the lenses!

Now have a the Halfords zenon ones - same wattage but 30% brighter - and they last.

Let me help...

H4 fitment for Headlight

Wedge fitting for sidelight (301 i think?!?!)

No need to remove anything to get the lights out... once done it becomes easy! So long as you have good grip that is. Strong fingers are a must.

For the headlights, just pull the electric plug out, then use a damn good grip to yank the rubber plug out. Then flick the metal and pop the old bulb out. Put the new in and make sure you NEVER touch the bulb. Then fasten metal cage, bung it and plug it! Easy peasy! (passenger side just requires better grip and more patience.

Sidelights are easy too really... just twist until they click, then pull them out, grab the old bulb out and push the new one in. Then re-click it in and job's a good 'un!

This does require strong fingers for it to be easy though!

In my car iv got Osram Silverstars Headlights which are truly superb. Super white and give excellent coverage. Plus, they don't melt anything and are 100% legal.

Sidelights wise iv got some philips blue thingys in (check garage... it's late!) and they are pretty damn bright for sidelights, plus they are a lovely bluey-whit colour and look great. And again... 100% legal.
