does the t4 auto 2004 /o4 1.8 4 speed have traction and vsc

i have read the manual this says yes but no trc switch

and on start up ie ign on no vsc light or trc light

dealer says book in

please help

Mine is January 2005, 1.8 VVTi saloon (sedan). The final price was 31000€ (alarm, cd changer, roof bars etc.) but they didn't have it right away but only in 2 months, so they offered me the same one right away but with traction control, with 31500€ price. I took it, but it means that TRC is just an option. Bellow the steering wheel I have the switch "Traction Control Off". When I press it, in dash board lights up "Traction Control Off". So, you don't have one, or you do but you don't know. Try these: Bellow the steering wheel, a little bit on the left (left side steering wheel, not UK) there are two holes with covers, for additional swithers, and one bellow, a little bit on the right. If they don't have any switchers you don't have those options.

PS: If your car has steering wheel on the right, holes for switchers are oposite I guess.
