Has anyone fitted sporst seats in their Yaris 3 Door and used their existing seat belts (front passanger and driver)?

I'ts difficult getting someone to weld a plate into the car floor.

has anyone done this themselves if so how easy is it?

I'm getting some Subaru Impreza Sti seats installed in the next week or so. Have to get some custom frames made, but the whole job (including fitting) will take about 2 hours

Will do! Not worth it in my opinion. There are insurance issues as well.

Should fit fine. I was looking at doing the same thing with my Vitz, but was getting too much hastle from used car people so have once again found an alternative! :P

couldnt agree more mate, have thought about it a number of times, but the thought of having side airbags brings me back down to earth, always safty over styling

anways tho, havnt had any experience with them in a yaris, but taking from what i saw from a mates focus, have you got the harnes holes at the top?? if so coulnt you just undo the seat belt bolt on the floor, feed the end of the seat belt through, back down to the foor and do it up again??

The exisiting belts will work but be warned, it will look pony!

i was think of putting T-sport seats in mine as well, but then i dunno where to find some, (dont wanna go to toyota for new ones, cos it's gonna be expensive) and i've never seen any T-Sport in a scrappy.
