How To Turn Off The Maint Req Light?

hi guys!

can anyone tell me how to turn off the Maint Req light?

i have a Corolla 2005 and it only has 5.6k milage,, don't know why that light is on all the time :ffs:

if it looks like a little amber engine its got a fault on the engine somwhere. take it straight to the dealers and get it fixed under warranty

I would avoid driving the car whilst the light is on, you could kill it completely :ph34r:

I presume you have a handbook -

However if you are refering to the light that looks like an engine my handbook says "take vehicle to any authorised Toyota dealer or repairer, or other duly qualified and equipped professional"

The handbook makes no mention of not driving the car, other wise how would you get it to a dealer apart from on the back of a low loader/recovery truck.

Thus this indicates as already said above your vehicle has a fault that needs urgent attention. When the dealer fixes the fault they will re-set the light which is the only way you can do this.

If the light you are talking about isn't the one I am on about than I am sorry I don't have a clue.
