i've got a grainger valve (gold one off gtschris) - actually had it for a year and now deciding to fit it.

anyway i think its broken.

its of the ball and spring variety and i don't seem to have a ball?

i recall a mate of mine undoing it months ago and a tiny ballbearing may have dropped out (or i may have dreamt this up, i cant remember)!

it only seems to tighten so far and doesn't seem to affect the spring - which i assume a little ballbearing between the spring and the tightening bit would.

am i right in thinking im missing a ball, or is it not broken?
