Ever since ive had my paseo, i have thought my headlights werent very bright, when im, out of town(no streetlights) i cant see bugger all unless i put my highbeams on. Ive changed the bulbs several times so it isnt the bulbs.

Is it a common thing for paseos and is a floor in the headlight design? Or is it just mine?

Could it be a wrong ampage fuse or something?

Ive been meaning to ask for ages but keep forgetting.

Thanks for any help.

Rich

mine seemed alright, not too bright on low beam but decent on high beam, and i changed the bulbs and its a lot better now...maybe you have the height adjuster set to the lowest setting?

i think its comon with the paseo's...

a lot of people find that the light isn't good enough, i changed mine for hyper white & they just seemed like normal bulbs..

I find them pretty good, enough to put my dim yellow french bulbs in anyway! My wife used to keep knocking the adjuster switch then saying they werent very bright

I agree with Richie. I had upgraded the bulbs my previous car (E10 corolla) to some bright white jobbies. The standard beam on the corolla at night was superb, i could see very clearly. I took these bulbs out and put them on the Paseo and the light being produced is no where near as good as the corolla. I think toyota messed up with the design of the Paseo head lamps, or maybe the design of the lamps hinder some of the light.

Who knows eh!
