Ecu Reset Question

I know your meant to reset Ecu with taking neg off and leaving out efi 15amp for like 3-5 mins or so. What is the danger of trying this with Battery connected exactly? In my case I did this when I wasn't sure on my superchips re-mapped ecu originally doesn't seem to of harmed it although interested to know the effects.

You dont need to do both, you either disconnect the Battery OR remove the fuses for 15secs.

You superchip will be fine as its mapping is on a flash rom
