Strewth thats tellin `em. :boxing::boxing:

I`m really glad i live in sleepy ruralville-on-sea, that said there`s a housing association estate just along the road where they send all the bad buggers before they issue them with ASBO`s and evict them. There are some real evil sod`s there too.

You need to keep your eyes open and make sure everything secure, because some of them would have there grannies false teeth just for kicks.

(And before anyone moans... I`m not against housing association estates or anything like `em. In fact i used to live in one...... Just thieving lowlife in general. )

I'm not being funny but, and I can see where you're coming from, but posting at length, with the inference of exercising violence outside of the law doesn't seem to be within the spirit of this open/public forum.

Don't get me wrong, I've had my car(s) vandalised in the past, the most recent ocurrence being within 24hrs of picking up the Gen 7 resulting in 30 key marks on the door and someone trying to break into my old Fiesta Zetec-S outside my front door.........

BUT, it is fair to warn people that you've got your eye on them, but to infer that violence will be inflicted upon them is way outside of the law and IMHO not applicable for this website where we are supposed to be sharing help/thoughts on our cars and positive experiences to help other members (which I know you do with your intricate knowledge of engines/mechanics).

I just find some of the posts a little 'in your face' and outside the mandate of this forum.

I agree that law and order has seemed to fall short of the mark of late, but taking the law into your own hands or moaning about it doesn't do any good. Like most things, if you don't like it - best thing is to emigrate or do something positive about it.....many of my friends have done either this or join the Special Constabulary.

Just my opinion, anyway. Don't mean to upset anyone - quite to the contrary, just think we're loosing sight of the use of the forum.

I know what you are say Spuffington, but in all fairness it is actually on a different forum!

Having said that I have to agree with a lot of what Carlos has said but it would be more relevant in the private forums such as the Gold Forums :D

Now crispy pancakes shouldn't be insulted anywhere and I think he should withdraw his statement about them

I want to upgrade to gold as I know understand I would use the additional member abilities

And The thread at celica club, as i stated i didnt mind, was moved from general discussion to off topic as the subject turned political and in depth with redards to subjects such as Geneology, Public Sector budgets and phycology. Albeit all written on 60mg of codine 4 times a day.

I never discussed unnecesarry violence?:blink:

carlos got to agree with ya mate, others may think your being a little extreme, in your views.

if someone comes into my home or attempts to steal or deface my car, is litterally taking their life in there hands!!!

because if i catch them i will take their life with MY HANDS.

also on a lighter note i dig holes for a living so i could cut down on funeral expenses for the poor bereaved relatives.

might be a good sideline for my fence erecting business BURYING RUBBISH :D

had cause to practise what i preach only yesterday!!!

my mate caught a !Removed! in his car!!!attempting to relieve him of his stereo. at ten oclock in the morning!!! he chased him but lost him over garden fences.

after a little investigation and arm twisting of a few local lads he got his name and address and went to pay a visit!!!

he informed the mother that the !Removed! had 2 options

option1--come outside and take a beating no police involvement!!

option 2--police informed arrested charged released followed by BEATING

mother chose to rant and rave about how the poor little !Removed! was being persecuted and obviously it wasnt him because he has turned into an angel since he left prison 2 weeks ago!!

spent last night prowling the estate putting the word out that we wished him to know that suitable retribution was being planned, and would be implemented at earliest opportunity.

retribution was duly dished out.!Removed! IS NOW TRULY APOLOGETIC AND IS ENJOYING SOUP DIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes. Well, I guess the punishment did fit the crime. Without any deterrents, this stuff will go on. Steal in Saudi and you get your hand cut off, so a beating doesn't seem so bad does it.

well i'm putting the plastic caps back on and spraying them silver. trouble is the brass caps with shiny outer cover hold the air pressure in thr tyres, and that really why i use them, fro practicality and not looks. but they did look good...
