Cheapest&cool Mod Ever!

Ok..

so its not the BEST mod..

but hey.. its got 2 big "+"

1) you can match the color of the side repeaters to your car (i used grey)

2) its BOTTOM CHEAP! and if it worns out.. just do another one!!!

hehe..

ok.. so here goes.. the thing is i really hate my side repeaters ..kinda like two lil shark fins ... and they are too damn bright.. soooo... ive decided to turn this:

while i still want the siderepeaters to be seen..

so ive used.... TADA!! PANTYHOSE!

the thing is with pantyhose is that there are so many colors, shades and styles..

just buy 3 and change each day hehe.. ok...

you will need:

1) a yaris

2) scissors, pantyhose (DA dont start!), and 5 minutes free time

just cut both end like this ... i find it more comfortable.. but u can try all kinds of combinations .

now.. to take apart the repeater... its really easy.. just pull the damn thing towards the hood and lift it up on the opposite end while its pulled..

put on the pantyhose strip and tighten it.. remember the more u tighten it.. the lighter the color will be.. ive used a knot.. but u can use a safety pin or whatever u like..

TADA!

NEW smoked siderepeaters ... no tint.. no spray.. no fuss..

i would love to see those in red... hehehehehehe

oh by the way... check out this photo, just look at the sign.. and look at what shes doing.. (it was taken over the elvis museum near jerusalem) its located in a big gas station and she was smoking near those big containers with gas in them..

smart move hehe..

Moffmos got his side repeaters done and they look really good, I dunno if he used pantyhose though - perhaps I'll ask him!

Very Blue Peter though Eternity - well done! Looks great! Its something you'd never think of using pantyhose for in everyday normal life!

Won't your tights ladder or something? and doesnt it feel real poo quality when ya like feel them and parts on your car feel like womens garments (and not even worn or particularly sexy ones!) I cant see me getting a seat trim in thongs tbh! Doesn't look too bad but in person i don't think would look much better! Also it doesnt change there ugly shape and in someways draws your eye a bit more! 100% for creativity and imagination! and You cant get much cheaper than that, spesh if the tights werent purchased by you! (hope u dont start a pantyhose stealing mob!!!) But yeah good temporary solution!

EDIT: Just Thort, Wouldn't it get quite embarrassing if they had started to fall off and you went out! Or perhaps your gf may get a bit suspicious of a pair of pantyhose hanging off your cars indicators... I was trying to tint the indicators you see, i thort if i cut some pantyhose and placed them round it, it would give a nice tint..... honest i haven't had anyone over my bonnet.....or..... no they arent mine for the last time! that time you caught me wearing them was just to stretch them! :P The best girly mod i could justify would have to be a hairdryer/HKS turbo!

What denier did you use?

I suppose if they ladder just replace them with a higher denier - you could also mix and match - have one week of black tights, next week American Tan, then maybe red fishnets - the poissibilities are endless!

The higher the number denier, the thicker the tights..... so 20 Denier is thicker than 10 Denier etc etc
