Mirrors Control And Handbrake

Avensis 2005 !!!

I've noticed that dashboard controls (switchers) of outside mirrors are only controls that are not iluminated when lights are on. Is it the way it is or bulbs are broken on mine???? Please other owners of new Avensis, how is it on your cars???

2nd question is about hanbrake. Before Avensis I owned 8 cars along last 20 years. Handbrake was the same in all of them more or less. I mean it would completely block rear wheels on 4th or 5th degree (tooth). Avensis is first car I have that on 4th or 5th degree don't brake rear wheels at all. Just on 5th degree I feel that car is breaking a little bit, but I can drive it away. Full breaking would be on 10th, 11th degree only but hanbrake don't go up more than that and I'm not even sure that wheels are completely blocked. By the way to bring the handbrake all the way up I need to use little force. I just don't feel it's the way any handbrake should work. Do I have to go to my dealer for adjustments???

Thanks to all

Yup def no bulb in that switch.

My car is brand new (3 weeks) and my handbrake catches on about 5th notch, to be honest I though that was too high, so I intend mentioning this at 1st service. <_<
