Jae Tent Help!

Right, I've managed to talk Nick into sleeping in a tent for JAE, but I need to buy one first! I've not been camping since I was about 6-7, so havent a clue what Im looking for

Needs to be at least a 3 man tent, and simple to put up (as I'm going to be left to do that lol). Oh and fairly cheap as JAE will pretty much be the only time we use it

I have just bought my tent from Tesco for less than £10

Have not camped for over 20 years so it should be fun. :)

The one that I got was only a 2 person tent but they did have some reasonably priced 3 or 4 person tents...............worth a look.

I have just put my new tent up in my lounge so I know "how to"

Cant wait for JAE......not long now.......hope the good weather lasts

You did say that you were only looking for a tent just for JAE

Most of the cheapo tents are good enough for one or two seasons if looked after

build the tent out of beer cans /bottles. As the weekend progresses the tent gets smaller...thus no tent to take down at the end!. Or just do an Earl..buy a tent dont bother pegging it down and see where it ends up! :D

rach i got one for japshow last week, 2 man tent, 2 sleeping bags and 2 camping matts for £50!!! they do a bigger package for £70 this was from Halfords....

Halfords are generally pretty good this time of year, last year I bought a 4 man tent, inflatable double mattress, 2 sleeping bags, gas stove and some cooking bits for about £80, of course being gold you also get discount if you pre-order the voucehers.

The tent has been used a few times, easy to put up/take down etc. and lasts :D
