hi, i am looking for a workshop maual for a 78 toyota corolla that i can download, please

you've got absolutly no hope of finding a manual online

haynes used to do one ISBN number is 0 85696 852 8 corolla 75 - 78 166cc and 1588cc including sr models.

It took me ages to find mine

Ive got 3 different ones, not that i want to sell. The haynes is american though, but ive got a good workshop manual. What is it that u need to know?

i want to fully strip the car and motor and restore it it is a pet project ive been wantin to do for a long time. if i cant rebuild the motor im on the lookout for a twin cam, turboed celica motor and 5 speed gearbox. any help will be very much appreciated.

What engine are you running at the moment? which twin cam are you hoping to use? abd where are you located? lots of questions :D you can PM me if you want.

what chassis series is your corolla ke/te3*,ke/te5* up to 78 or ke/te7* post 78

i dont know anything about the post 78 stuff but heres some info if its a earlier car

the ke cars were fitted with 1166cc 3k engines in the uk and 1296cc 4k engines in australia u need to mod your crossmember or replace with one from a te series car

the te cars have a t series motor which i believe is the same as celicas easy peasy it just falls in basically sort of

check these sites out the have a load of info on the early stuff most of which applies to the pre 78 cars

Hi all, i am based in Newcastle in Australia, yes it is a ke-30 body with 3k 1166cc motor. all the work i will be doing will be totally dependend on how much i can afford and the time

You definitly want to check those links then they're both aus/nz sites . One of the guys even sell crossmebers so theres plenty of people in ur neck of the woods who know how to do what ur doing so help aint that far away.

i have a 78 KE30 3k as well it would be interestin to know what engine will just bolt onto the existing mounts and what gearbox will do the same, im from geelong australia, and my engine is startin to get a bit :censor: iffy
