I just bought a mini cooper s supercharger that only has delivery mileage on it.

Now i have been told that the engine will cope with power of the charger.

Does anyone know any different??

i paid £75 for it. i don't know if i have got the by-pass valve with it.

you couldn't by any chance tell me what i would need?

new inlet manifold, a pully which runs the belt around the engine mount, mounted on the alternator bracket, new alternator bracket (to move the alternator out of the way), bypass valve, new crank pully, alternator and power steering pump pullys (because a 3V belt isnt relieable enough to cope with the strain) also moving about of wires pipes ETC. and if you want it to run properly you'll also require a custom ECU.

all custom made aswell.

no all these parts will have to be made in order to fit the charger. i'll happily let my bypass valve go for £100

Before you decide to go ahead with the charger get hold of "Supercharged!" by Corky Bell. It's a comprehensive book with lot of info - well worth a read.
