Crazy Summer Project

Right im off work for the next ten weeks fully paid :D :P (God bless working at a college), and i've decided to fill my time making my little car go silly,

At the moment its a standard 1.0l 12v Starlet, with stone chips everywhere and rust creaping up in place's, so im gonna sort out the body work and get it looking Like it just rolled off the line but i fancy doing sumthing crazy with the engine as, well i can because i have the time and the money, so.......

I've just bought i Eaton M45 Supercharger Bargin price £75, i have thought this through and i know whereim gonna mount it and how to get the air into the carb and how to sort out fueling, i just wanna know if anyone can offer and advise or any problems i may not have thought off,

Do you guys know if anyone has tried this before?

what year is your car? i'd be surprised if it had a carburator. best of luck on the project though.

Before you decide to go ahead with the charger get hold of "Supercharged!" by Corky Bell. It's a comprehensive book with lot of info - well worth a read.

Its a 88 MK2 Starlet that does have a carb,

and i have done a awful lot of reading on superchargers and forced air intake systems,

i'll keep you posted on the status of the project and get piccys up if i can

Well i have decided what color im going for,

I know its ford but its a nice color and i like it so :P
