If want to keep fuel econemy the best as possible with these mods, so would a unichip ecu after these mods.

my aim is to get 180bhp ish and 0-60 of 6.2 6.3ish. are these mods below sufficient?

or would it be best to get an aftermarket ecu. ie jam ecu?,

id prefer the uni chip tuning after id put all these mods on.

ok heres my list of mods im going to do.

*de cat pipe - any probs with ecu lamda sensor etc

*air filter - which is best one filteration and relcoation wise to front?

*ECU remapped by unichip?

*FCD - dont know what make?

*FMIC - dont know what make? - whats eaclty is this

*HKS acuatator

*rrfr - what exaclty is this?

*Koni shocks and springs 35mm

im wanting to set the boost of standard turbo to 13psi? so what mods will i need?

just an uprated fuel pump and acuattor? anything else?

whats the recommend boost setting on a standard turbo?

what 0-60 will i get and bhp 180ish?

if your worried about fuel economy...

basically, the more tuned your car is, the more fuel it will use..

yeah true, im not mega bothered about fuel econemy i wouldnt buy one of these if i was jsut, ive heard wihtout proper equipment, i can waste fuel wiht no gains etc.

1. I believe the K&N cotton filters are bestm as the hks sponge ones deteriorate with use, and deposit fragments into the engine.

2. FCD - there's HKS which is most popular, and i believe Greddy used to make one

3. Front Mounti Intercooler (FMIC) - Blitz make a kit but its rather expensive

4. Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator - Sard make one, and its basically a fuel pressure regulator which i think, raises the rate with boost (demand for fuel)

5. I believe you'll need a boost controller for that boost level

Also note that by 180hp the standard ct9 turbo is becoming very inefficient and itd probably be better you replace it with something like a td04 or something...also itd be best for safety to start upgrading internals at this stage

1. I would recommend a wickedep racing turbo back system as the price is good, the system is top quality and it includes the decat (going with this all depends on whether or not there is a cat back system already on the car)

2. Apexi power intake, best filtration, most power gained (although this is both minimal and debateable). K&N is good, but i think apexi is regarded as being better

3. HKS FCD is most popular and easily available but the greddy is much better if you can find one

4. I would recommend the wickedep racing FMIC kit again for the same reasons as above

5. You should be able to set the boost using the HKS actuator but im not to hot on those type of things yet!

6. See what Riko says ^ - the man speaks sense!!

Thats pretty much all i can think of adding and are basically the mods i am going to do

excellent mate, looks like im doing the same mods as you and geting similar colour car etc.

regarding de cat, wont i get more boost automatically?, therefore it may cut out on me hmm frightening.

to be honest i rarely go over 100mph in cars, i just like the car for it potential sprint capabilitys

regarding mpg

if i keep it in low boost and stick at 70mph on motorways will it return good mpg, bearin in mind me t sport returns 48ish mpg

Right a CT9 will easy make 180 bhp on std internals. Look at the !Removed! they have had the cars from when they first came out and get 200hp on there 100 octane fuel.

Buy quality if something is cheap it is cheap for a reason you are not buying a common car so parts usually have to come from japan one way or another.

Wickedep's stuff is good but i have heard the intercoller piping leaves allot to be desired.

You will not need an FCD if you are going the route of a unichip.
