thats gorgeous mate, a nice rare colour for a modded starlet, i really like the front splitter, what car is it from?? nice one.

Posted

is that the famous " sierra metallic " green?

Posted

looks nice, did they spray over your front toyota Badge on the bonnet? I would have kept that silver but i suppose its persoanl preference.

Have you done anything under the bonnet?

Posted

looks nice mate ;)

you dont often see grren starlets with mods, looks nice tho... the white wheels really suit it!!!

keep up the good work!!

Cheers for the comments folks

Yeah its the same car mate! haha. Ive just managed to bring the paint to life a bit now. It was me who painted the badges green, along with the mirrors and i should do the handles too. Not sure on the actual name of the colour but rover british racing green works a treat

As for under the bonnet the only performance mod is the stainless exhaust. I've removed the rocker cover and polished it. I'been looking into getting a piece of stainless pipe made to go from the throttle body down into the front bumper for better induction. Would this make a difference? Also heard a paseo throttle body increases bhp. Any suggestions for performance wouls be apreciated, its the 4efe engine

Oh, and the splitter is from a seat cordoba. Needed a bit of modifying to fit but worth it i think! B)

Yeah a mate has them on his paseo, makes all the difference. Think he got them from funky styling. I need to do something with back of the car, been keeping my eye out for an sr spoiler or a top glanza spoiler to finish it off.

No-ones noticed my seats yet... :D

Posted

oh but i did....they look like mr2 seats? or celica?

Posted

There from an EP82 starlet turbo. Was pure luck how I got a hold of them and they near enough bolt right in. :D

Posted

hmm, very nice (they do look quite similar to the aw11 mr2 seats)

Posted

I say nice motor m8. where u get ur splitter coz i ain't payin tte prices and that looks good. oh and as for the seats am not suprised Starlet seats are not the best. the seats u av look like they would hold me in round a corner. what are they out of.

But why the T-Sport Badge on the grill? (Or am I going blind?)

Posted

Soon as I saw the first pic I thought nice wheels. I love them, they only suit certain cars and yours is one of them, cool Starlet that.

Cheers folks

The seats are from an older shaped starlet turbo and the splitter is from a seat cordoba. Paid £15 for it but the scrappy I went to is pretty expensive so you might find one cheaper. You can also buy them brand new from seat IIRC.

I put the Tsport Badge on to be a little different, I think it breaks up the grill nicely, just looks like a hole otherwise.

Nice looking starlet there.

Where did you get the clear front indicater covers from as I'm after some of those for mine.

Posted

they are toyota parts mate.

speak to a toyota garage, i think you can get the covers for £11.

Rich.

do they make clear ones for the 'seo without the orange cover on the bulbs :(

Lookin at that starlet brings a tear to my eye. It is almost identical to my now scrapped starlet. It was exactly the same colour and had the same wheels :crybaby:

One more thing i would do to that car is mildly tint the rear lights, i kno this is not to everyones taste but it looks good on this particular colour starlet.

If the colour is the same as my one was (two tone) then it is officially known as 'two tone green'

Car looks very tidy mate, nasty dent on the n/s/rear wing :o
