Just Bought An Mr2...how Much Hp? Specs?

I'm a HONDA kinda person. but biught this car for a while and its pretty nice and guess i enjoy driving it

its a 1987 mr2 stock and its 5 speed..

how much HP does it have?

weight?

anything that helps

might get a 5zigen or hks exhaust, short shifter and intake

any help will do

112HP for the US version of the Mk1, weight is in the region of 2400-2600Ib if I remember correctly. The UK and Japanese versions got 10 extra ponies due to not having the exhaust gas recirculation system.

There are plenty of cone filters about that you can fit just south of the AFM and if you're after short shifters for the MK1 the best place is www.twosrus.com

Don't the Cali emission/auto laws come down quite heavily on 'alterations' to the engine of a car?
