Hi all

Im looking at a supra MK4 FI model tonight 1993 Automatic, I asked the owner, who's job it is to buy and sell cars if the cambelt has been changed at all, he replied "it has no cambelt it has a chain". Does anyone know what he is talking about.

Thanks

hello and welcome.

if u do decide to buy the car, first thing to do would be have the belt changed and a service carried out. belt should be changed every 60k miles i think....better safe that sorry tho

try and knock him down, that way u can save on the servicing costs.

btw (shameless plug here) how much is the guy selling the car for?

My uk car is for sale, and turbos are better buys over n/a's. My uk turbo costs less to insure than this import n/a will do ;)

Plus the cambelts been done, all fluids changed and a service done!
