I have already brought the adaptor kit so the phone will play through the Speakers ..

How do you get the radio out ..

Does anybody know if the radio has a tel mute function and which pin is it .

Also can you get Sat nav to work on this radio with the right kit .

and one more ...

on the mpg readout can you hack into that to give other info ..

Thanks in advance ..

Providing Toyota haven't changed the dash too much with the model updates, should be the same

Nep!

Toyota has completely changed the dash and the head unit and it looks very different than your pictures. If you could check the interior pics of the new corolla and verso form toyota uk web page you would notice the difference.

I am still searching for a guide to remove my own head unit to install a sat-nav unit and/or a colour lcd.

The pics you see, are for the Corolla, not the Verso dash.

The pics may look different, but that because i've changed it to my own H/U instead of the Corola own, but what you see is the same in all the Corolla's dash.

It might be different to take tem apart, but if thats the case, i can't help you there.

Hope that helps.

I'm about to fit my Nokia Handsfree kit into mine.

Can I ask you which bracket you got, where it sits, how much it was ?

Oooh and the adapter to have it running through the Speakers?

Questions Questions :D

Cheers

Steve

Check my homepage

you must begin by the gearknob than the pull the plate with the leadersocket from the gearknob up

Than pull the front of the heather consul straight forwards from under to the radio than you have to unscrew to bolts and pull the radio forwards to you

check my homepage

Yes you can have sat nav running through the OE radio. However it will have to be the Toyota unit which ain't cheap! Best consult your Dealer for prices.

As for the phone kit, there is a mute function built into the radio. You will have to connect the mute wire from the phone kit to one of the connectors of the radio. Can't remember which wire off hand, should say in your instructions!? If not I can find out.
