Its a shame that i have dogs and push chairs to put in the bus, other wise i would be going with the same thing.

but i still need to get a sub in.

Jay, ive got a really good compact sub is you want it, its an MTX V80 8" inch sub in a proper designed MTX box. Dont be fooled by the size, this baby is 400 watts max, i used to power it off a pheonix gold M50 amp. It can produce some thumpin base for its size, plus, youll be able to put in in the rear leg area if the dogs are in the boot. Give me a shout if interested and we can chat more.

i will probably go bandpass to protect the sub. dogs and pushchairs would make a quick job of smashing the cone up.

may even look at a floor build like yours but try and use it as an enclosure????

yes mate, the box is great, the sub is dropping low for a 10 incher, and its loud and punchy, overall, im well pleased, nice to have some proper music in the car now.
