TG are pretty good, based round the corner from my work. Its a cheap no name no frills unit but it works.

Been a lurker on here for a while, but bought a rev 3 tubby on saturday with one of these fitted!

I've not tried DVD's yet, but it all seems pretty good. Plays CD's fine and sounds pretty good. For the TV bit, I think you need a special aerial for it to work. The screen is ok though, and seems to give a good picture on the default 'no disc' screen!!! Someone told me they use the same internals as Kenwood?

Will sit in the garage and test some DVDs this weekend, and report back!

P.s. I MAY be selling mine as I can't imagine using the DVD/TV features really - so make me a reasonable offer and you may be able to get even more of a bargain! I've got the instruction manual but no box.

yeah similar, but mine was japanese... so it only played region 1 dvds. apart from that, it was sweet.

Check out the above. It's made by a company called AV who are the largest electrics manufacturer in China. The make all of the in-car stuff for Panasonic JVC and other big names. I'm gonna get me one. The other style is made by a company called Caska.
