Big Rant

Well as a few of ye know I was away on hols, which was the only thing that went right for me over the last few weeks. anyway while I was on hols I left the car at a so call “friends” place for safety and for him to drop it into work to get new tyres fitted while I was away, sounds simple, yea?, but no. when I got back I noticed a big mark on the front bumper :ffs: but that was just the start of it, I always start her and let her tick over to get warm since I fitted the turbo. So I sat there a lit a !Removed! and turned on the radio, after a minute or so I started to get a funny smell so I had a little look. I walk round the car to see what the smell was and for duck sake I noticed the tyres and alloys, not only were the tyres not replaced but were as smooth as a babies ***** and all the alloys were marked as I bend down to have a better look I noticed the smell was getting stronger and there it was the tip of the ice burg a pool of gear oil :( . I rolled her back and jacked her up to see a 3" round hole the gear box. so now I have a bill for a new box, a respray for the front bumper, I still have not got the tyres and have to save for new alloys, but at least I was thinking of a new set, so all in all at this stage I just sad as the few euro I’d saved for mods for JAE is now spent and I’m no further on than I was, it just so heart breaking to work so hard on her and work as had as I can to save then that **** of a so called friend to mess it all. So that’s why ive not being around :( .

Dude that's really ******! I wouldn't be very happy with him at all. In fact i'd want to know what the hell he was actually doing with it, why he was taking the car when he was drunk and how much he's going to couggh up to fix all the mess. Sorry to hear about it mate, and hope you get it fixed soon

Thats just not on at all... he should offer to pay for damages... especially as it wasnt his property and you had faith in him to look after it. If he doesnt offer... you should ask.

You must have some will power, i'd have layed int them by now!

a sure i know he does deserve a good smack but whats done is done, the lads in the bodyshop said now they will do it free. if i get the price of the gearbox off him then ill be happy.

He needs to buy you a few pints! Or do something to say sorry. If someone puts their trust in me i take pride and would never dream of doing anything that would dent that trust.

What happend to the gearbox exactly? Is it as a result of his driving?

4500rpm, 1st gear, hand break up, drop the clutch, lots of tyre smoke, then sit for 2-3 minutes and wait to see it the gearbox or the tyres go first. the car can be fixed, but the trust i had in the lad will take a lot more to fix, it not the money factor involved that i annoyed about it the dissapointment that i thought i could trust him. :(

As official spokesman for the Kill mob, I suggest you kill.

cars are replacable, but a friend can`t, thats what i`m annoyed, i know the lad for years i thought i could trust him
