If someone crashes into say your front wheel from side on say goodbye to your car. The strut brace will twist your chassis probably and thats why I haven't got one and my car handles well enough anyway! :P

i imagine this is why it isnt standard, they spent all that money of making your car safe, with crumple zones and stuff then a strut brace goes and toughens the car up again

crumple zones are for frontal and rear shunts................lots of cars come with braces as standard e.g z4, TT

don`t even get me started on esky`s, round and round and round she goes where she shops no bodies knows mk.1 1600cc ohv, AVO Shell, RWD and wiggles its bum like a year old puppy :drool:

yeah but they are/were fun

don`t worry your talking to the converted here :lol: sorry for being a little off subject but a mate of my mine has the best and greatest car collections i know of and there all road going examples
