hey guys i have a pretty much stock 92 seo in terms of engine, and i was wondering which engines can fit into this best :D lol. turbo compatible would also be fantastic hahaha, thanx in advance

4e-fte

Which is from a Starlet GT or Glanza (later jap version) it's a 1.3 turbo.

it's rated at 135bhp with the stock TMIC but i know people who can get 200bhp no porbs.

Tim

well, 133hp in the gt, 135hp in the glanza :P pshh, how could you forget tim

thats your best bet for engine conversion, plus there is so much you can do to the engine, the possibilities are limited only by your money...but basically if you want to achieve highish power with that engine itd be best to get a fmic, strengthen the internals and get a different turbo (there are various available kits).

and its pretty much a straight drop, i think you just need the 4e-fte ecu and wiring loom to make it all fit, and a bit of fiddling with those...and you need the 4efte gearbox

Depends on how much you can afford mate - the only limitation is cost

4EFTE - 1.3 Turbo - as Enrico & Tim said the most common & straight forward swap.

4AGE - 1.6 Turbo or Supercharged - more power but more work, custom mounts & alot more work needed.

3SGTE - 2L Turbo - the hardest swap - Custom mounts & you will need to cut away some of the engine firefwall to make this fit - the most costly of swaps.

after that you get into the hybrids. which i'm looking into.

Put a 4EFTE in mate....it's very easy to do. Last weekend we went to belgium to fit a 4EFTE engine into a paseo. The guy only used te 5EFE engine mounts but that was the only part he needed to change.
