I've got a 93 K reg ST182, with 140,000 miles on the clock.

Usual wear and tear items to look out for, worn front tyres, alternator, interior trim.

Check the service log, check for any receipts to see what was replaced when.

Take it for a drive, make sure the gear change isn't too sloppy.

Nothing specific on that model. The 3s-ge engine is a good'un if looked after.

Hey Pob.

I've got a 91 H Celica with 168,000 on the clock. Runs smooth as a beautiful woman with freshly shaved legs.

Great car. Had new clutch recently and in the last 2 years have had - cam belt, all new tyres/discs/brakes, alternator, Battery, front shocks and a few oil changes.

If it is kept sweet and well loved it will give you loads of very happy motoring.
