A good FMIC is as good and can be more effective than the stock ST205 Chargecooler.

It all depends what kind of power your expecting to run and depends on the engine and thermal efficiency expected. Rate of mass flow and boost, size of compressor etc.

any help?

fmic = front mount intercooler

tmic = top mount intercooler

thanks now i know what ya mean, but its fot the yaris and the cooler off a st205 will fit perfect and will not effect turbo lag, but if i fit a front mount because the turbo is at low pressure i`m afraid of losing power.

you will also need a chargecooler pump and the small fmic , and then there;s the electrics to think about.

you could wire it simply so that the pump runs all the time the ignition is on (not the best), wire it to a switch so you can turn it on or off whenever you want, or wire in a temp sensor so that when the chargecooler reaches a certain temperature it starts the pump.

not all that hard if you have half a clue :thumbsup:
