Cd Player Not Work?

Hi All

New yaris owner! SR! ^^

Might sound stupid but i not kno how to use the cd player!! :S

I have a TF0411 single cd player that for some reason was fitted instead of the standard in the dash cd player and it doesnt seem to be working? Can anyone help me?

I also have a tape player above it and it seems to work fine, so does the radio, but the cd player doesnt take the cds i place in? it only has an eject button on the player?

Is it spitting out the cd's straight away and not registering them?

If it is it could be that the lens is dirty and won't pick up the cd's being inserted - you can get special cleaning discs from places like Woolworths (altho they cost around £7!) which do the job. I used it on my Mum's stereo downstairs - so not a car cd player which wouldnt read discs and it sorted it

The player isnt taking in the cds! its not working full stop! but the tape player and radio seems to work?? it seems as tho the power isnt on or something?? gave toyota a ring and sed they get back to me right away.... that was 1 and a 1/2 hrs ago... :ffs:

If your pretty handy - rip the dash apart and check the usual, connections etc etc.. If not, phone a friend!

Post a picture of it and show us what it looks like.

Post a pic, as said, and tell us where you are (roundabouts, cause it's sensitive information. Well, it is for me. Lots of crazy people about, don't ya know :D), and maybe one of us can help out.
