Hi there regarding this car http://www.avantimotorcompany.com/current_...a_V_110205.html , the guy has included the auction sheet for this (attached), and says:

The car is an auction grade 1 due to the uprated turbo, I've attached the Auction sheet, this also verifies the mileage. I have the receipt from Turbo Technics for the turbo refurb and the car should be MOT'd today. The ECU will be designed for 100 ron fuel but they always allow a margin in the ECU mapping for lower octane fuel, also the car will be to run lower boost than it did in Japan so there should be no detonation problems. Stick to Shell optimax (98 Ron) on a good super unleaded like Esso's and you'll be fine.

The turbo has just been overhauled by Turbo Technics

also, would it be okay on motorway runs for 300miles, with stops?any comments on all this?

I would get it mate it's got alot of good modifications that would cost a small fortune over here but i'm sure with bthat stuff on it will be a reliable car.

i agree, that is quite a specification for that car, and i reckon that's actually decent value at that price and mileage! Plus with that sort of power it will be quite fast, id just think to make it that much more reliable id just get a piston and rod set then it should be plain sailing from there
