Hi Chaps,

I have just bought a great little MR2, but the aerial only extends about a foot when the turn the radio on. Has anyone else had any similar issues or know of a solution?

Also the CD player does not like giving cd's back too easily, would love to think it likes the sound of my music, but i like a change every now and then! Any solutions?

The rest of the car is fab..;-)

Cheers

Anybody know where i can get a new one, or could you just fit a universal power antenna?

When i got my 2, the aerial didnt work either !!

On investigating the toothed cord that runs up the middle of the metal part of the antena was snapped, :ffs: and so didnt push it up !

I just ripped out the motor (weight reduction :P ) and pull it up by habd if req. But all you prob need is a new motor part / cord if they can be purchased seprate !

Is it a stock headunit ?

Yeah, heard of a few people woth skipping cd-units / refusing to give up the cd.

Or an in car stereo specilists might be able to service it ?
