Check Engine Light?

is this one of those switches that automaticailly comes on when the vehicle reaches a certain milage? , one that the dealer just resets? i just had the oil and fluid levels checked about a month ago?

the CEL usually means there something up with the engine or one of its electrical components. It does require the dealers to reset, but not until after they have checked to see what set it off to begin with.

You may want to look further on the Forums. THere are many people with lights comng on at random intervals. However, do get your dealer to look at your car if you are unsure
