Not Boosting

1. sometimes my tubby doesnt seem to be boosting right. its like its holding back once it hits 4k. seems to do it after the car has been boosted for a wee while.

2. sometimes at the lights the car idles at 2k but at the next set it will stay at just under 1k. any reason for this? cheers

I'm having roughly the same problems, but it seems to be the Ignition components, Have you checked the Dizzy cap, spark plugs leads since you bought the car? I'd replace them first, chances are thats the problem.

Check and clean the AFM aswell
