The Previa seems to be a great car, so I've read.

I may even buy it if I find a good one.

Does the car have any weaknesses I should I check when buying second-hand?

What production years are best?

Thanks in advance.

biggest weakness is fuel consumption!!! get a good one and get it converted to LPG and you wont go far wrong. LPG at Morrisons for 28.4p litre with the vouchers. gives the equivalent of 50-60 MPG compared to the cost of diesel if you buy an import. best to go for two sausage tanks in the boot so that you can still lift the rear seats, also better to board over top so you still have loads of lugage space.

im selling my previa at the moment if your intrested?

If it is any help, I spent a month looking at the various MPV options.

As I was on a restricted budget I wanted to be sure of buying the right one 1st time. Eventually I went for an imported Lucida 2.2 Turbo Diesel. The reason was because of the strict vehicle laws in Japan, I felt fairly sure that my car would have been well cared for by the previous owner and also because the Japanese do not use salt on the roads. In the event I have got a 94 L vehicle in pristine condition that has done only 60, 000 miles. It is a beautiful thing to drive, I get about 37 MPG, and the spec for the imported vehicles is far superior to the Previa which is built for the UK market. Whatever you buy, good luck.
