Sat Nav Question Lc4 2003

I thought, I had the TNS300 system in my LAnd cruiser LC4 registered MArch 2003. But when I tried out the Europe DVD the system said that I had to check my CDROM . I thought let's check the manual and 'oh dear' the system is a TNS200. I thought that Mr T switch to the DVD based system on all systems going forward as from 2003. Can anybody share some light to this before I start asking questions ??
