Ae111 Saloon Rear Damper

How do you get at the top mount of the rear damper in the ae111 sedan model (with no split/folding rear seats). It doesn't seem to be accessible through the boot, do i have to lift out the rear bench?

Also, should i renew the springs at the same time?

Yep - remove the rear seat squab and seat back to gain access. No real point in changing the rear springs unless you are towing a caravan,the springs dont seem sag/loose their tension.
