CASH

Don't forget it - Most trade stands WILL NOT take credit cards and the cash dispensers at the showground will more than likely Charge you to use the service.

If it's anything like the BMF bike show which is also at the Peterborough Showground, then they'll only supply 2 or 3 cash points for 150,000 people! :ffs:

Swing ball NO!!!

Got a nasty experience with them.

I used to have one and one day I thought we would have a game, anyway, it was a nice summers day and the ground was a bit hard so I grabbed the pole in both hands and stuck it into the ground with all my might.

As you all know the pole is telescopic (well it used to be), after planting the said pole into the ground something didn't quite feel right, ie, I couldn't get my left hand free from the pole, so I pulled it back out of the ground and got Anne to get the keys to my works van, she then helped me put the pole into the vice then passed me a hammer to knock the telescopic piece apart.

When I got to hospital-------

The palm of my hand had been dragged into the pole and left a nice chunk of skin flapping about in the breeze.

Apparently there are two VERY sensetive parts on your body, one is the soles of your feet, the other is the palms of your hand---and don't I know it after six stitches!!!!!!!! :crybaby:
